In 1987, Michael became a Director of the University Bancorp and today is Chairman of the Audit Committee. In his role as Director, Michael is an active member of the Financial Services Technology Consortium and the Independent Community Bankers Association. He also sits on various security working groups of the Accredited Standards Committee, which is the United States ISO standards setting body for the financial services industry. Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in History and attended Columbia Graduate School of Business. He started his financial services career with E.F. Hutton & Co. Inc in 1976 and has been with Ladenburg Thalmann since 1990 where he holds the licenses for General Securities Representative and Uniform Securities States Agent. Michael is registered in most states throughout the country. |
