Michael is a principal and consulting actuary with the Los Angeles office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1987.
Experience
Michael has been involved in a broad range of actuarial consulting services. His areas of concentration include companies in conservation/liquidation, hospital professional liability, and California workers’ compensation. Michael’s expertise also includes reserving studies for multi-line personal and commercial lines insurance carriers and reserve and funding studies for self-insured companies.
During his career at Milliman, Michael has developed experience with a wide range of clients. His clients include personal and commercial lines insurance carriers, state governmental agencies, self-insured companies, risk-retention groups, and captive insurance companies.
Michael’s long-term, ongoing governmental assignments include reserve and funding studies for California entities, including the State Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fund, the Insurance Commissioner’s Conservation and Liquidation Office, as well as counties and cities.
