Michael L. Williams is executive vice president and head of corporate systems and operations, responsible for information technology, project services and operations supporting corporate functions. He has oversight responsibility for major corporate initiatives including the Integrated Financial Systems Program, Basel II Implementation Program and Human Resources Project Via. Prior to his current position, Mr. Williams was the lead executive with overall responsibility for the successful integration of the Deutsche Bank Global Security Services business acquired in 2003.
With over 25 years of financial services industry experience, Mr. Williams has held a variety of client service, operations and technology management leadership positions. From 1987 to 2002, Mr. Williams was an Investment Services division head responsible for mutual fund, insurance and consulting Services. In 2002, he joined State Street’s strategy development office charged with leading strategic enterprise-wide initiatives.
Mr. Williams serves as trustee and vice chairman of the board of the New England College of Finance. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and his Masters in Business Administration degree from Babson College.
