Michael Hackworth is currently chairman of the board of Cirrus Logic Inc., a position he has held since July 1997. Mr. Hackworth served as president and chief executive officer from January 1985 to June 1998 and continued to serve as chief executive officer until February 1999. Mr. Hackworth currently serves as an "Advisor to Entrepreneurs" and serves on the board of Virage Logic Inc. (VIRL) and several private company boards including interim CEO roles. In 1990, he was named Semiconductor Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and in 2001 the Fabless Semiconductor Association presented him with the prestigious Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award for his visionary contributions to the fabless semiconductor industry. |
