Michael Scheiner’s career in the business community began 25 years ago as a Senior Auditor with what is now Wachovia Bank in Baltimore, Maryland. Michael’s experience in accounting, auditing, banking, construction project management and strategic business planning has placed him in various senior management positions of responsibility. As Assistant Director for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) in Atlanta, Georgia, Michael participated in managing and resolving the nation’s largest financial management crisis with the country’s savings & loans. Michael actively participated in the creation and management of the Asset Management Contractor program, which was responsible for billions in non-performing loans secured by real estate assets. Michael’s input at the national level in Washington, D.C. placed him in the forefront of the RTC’s real estate asset management team. Michael was directly responsible for the successful management and prompt resolution of $4 billion in real estate secured assets under the Asset Management program. Michael was also directly responsible for the management of a national CPA firm that was required to account for $8 billion in director contractor transactions for the Atlanta Field Office. In addition, Michael received one of the highest honors and awards at the RTC from the Equal Employment Opportunity Division for his direct accomplishments associated with the networking of minority and women owned firms to participate and help accomplish the mission of the RTC in multiple disciplines and markets throughout the United States. Michael came to Florida in the late 90’s to participate as the Capital Projects Coordinator in the $100 million dollar capital expansion program at the Port of Palm Beach; which included the construction of the Skypass Bridge, Port’s new Cruise Terminal, various Office Buildings and new slip construction projects. Michael was also responsible to coordinate all environmental issues and help obtain a 25 years storm water management plan for the entire Port from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Michael was subsequently recruited to the School District of Palm Beach County as Business Manager and Real Estate Coordinator. Michael actively oversaw the District’s $130 million construction projects that were within the 20 million square feet of existing school facilities for compliance, internal controls and timely completion. In addition, Michael was responsible for the implementation of a strategic business plan for all District business operations. Michael joins EB Developers Inc. as part of the dynamic team to accomplish the mission on dynamic, high quality real estate projects throughout the country. Michael holds a Baccalaureate of Science Degree from Towson State University in Business Administration and Accounting. Michael is a Dale Carnegie and Karrass Graduate and continues his postgraduate studies in multiple disciplines. Michael is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a licensed Mortgage Broker under Chapter 475 and 494 of the Statutes of the State of Florida. |
