Mike Rigo is Vice President for National Programs. Over the past sixteen years he has led efforts across the National Reconnaissance Office, Defense Intelligence Agency, Navy, Air Force, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and other United States Government customers. Mike joined IAI in 2003, bringing a wealth of technical and management experience in the Defense Industry. Since joining IAI, he has served as Director of DoD Programs, Director Special Programs, and Senior Principal Systems Engineer providing direct customer systems engineering support. Mike has broad leadership and technical experience in remote sensing, intelligence, and naval systems. Prior to IAI, Mike worked in multiple engineering, and program management positions with personnel and contracts across the DoD and Intelligence Community. Mike has held active and reserve positions with the US Navy and is currently an Engineering Duty Officer in the Navy Reserve and a certified DoD Acquisition Professional and Level III Systems Engineer. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, Master degrees in Applied Physics and Astronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and graduate coursework in Computational Science from George Mason University. Mike and his wife Kathy reside in Herndon, Virginia. |
