Mr. Cavallaro is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, facilitating merger and acquisition transactions, as well as assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry. He has worked with clients on both the sell-side and buy-side of mergers and acquisitions, branch and subsidiary divestitures, and capital raising initiatives, including the conversion of mutual thrifts to stock form and private placement of equity and trust preferred securities.
Prior to joining Hovde Financial, Mr. Cavallaro was with Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, a national investment banking firm focused on financial institutions. In this capacity, he focused on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings of equity and debt for financial institutions across the United States.
A native of Corning, NY, Mr. Cavallaro is a graduate of The Bowling Green State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual degree in Finance and Financial Economics. He is also licensed as a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. |
