Michael Whitehead, Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa's Atlanta office, has a decade of experience placing lawyers with prominent law firms and corporations throughout the United States and overseas in Europe and Asia.
A dual UK/US citizen, Michael has a keen understanding of the legal profession on both sides of the Atlantic and is well equipped to provide guidance to attorneys seeking national or international positions. He has enjoyed recruiting success in many major US cities and in such far flung locations as Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Kiev and London. His placement record includes practice groups, individual lateral partners, law firm associates at all levels and in-house attorneys.
Prior to moving to the United States, Michael worked for a major European financial services firm and spent several years on active duty with the Royal Air Force, including assignments in the UK, Germany, Denmark and Norway. He attended Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton, England and has a B.A. in political science from Georgia State University.
Michael is married with two children and resides in the Lake Claire neighborhood of Atlanta. He is an active volunteer for the Inman Park Co-operative Preschool. During his dwindling free-time, Michael is an avid reader, struggling writer and yoga practitioner. |
