Mr. Strong is President of CB Richard Ellis in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He joined the firm in 1972, after training with the Prudential Assurance Company. He became a Partner in 1977, a Group Director on Incorporation in 1997, Chairman in 2001 and EMEA President in 2005. Prior to becoming Chairman he had overall responsibility for the UK regional business, as well as leading departments specialising in development, corporate real estate advisory, and the overall combined commercial markets functions.

Michael's work now encompasses extensive involvement in European markets where the firm has over 100 offices and 3,500 employees.
During his over 30 years in the commercial property market, Michael has gained extensive first hand experience in advising clients on a wide variety of major development, investment, and leasing projects and in providing general consultancy advice to a wide range of major Corporates.
This has led to an involvement in a wide number of landmark projects, such as Canary Wharf, Stockley Park and the redevelopment of St George's Hospital. He has also had extensive involvement in advising a large number of major corporates, and has given strategic and implementation advice to companies such as ICL/Fujitsu, Total Fina Elf, Serco, Honeywell, BP, Mysis, the Granada Group and Reuters. Often this has led to managing major relocation and consolidation projects.
