Michael Stortz is a partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation, Communication Litigation and Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Groups. His products liability practice focuses on defense of nationwide and regional litigation, including defense of class actions and multidistrict litigation. Michael's commercial litigation practice includes representing companies in false advertising, unfair competition and consumer protection litigation, and also representing companies and individuals in corporate governance and contractual disputes.
In General. Michael has published and spoken regarding class action issues, and most recently testified before the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure of the U.S. Judicial Conference regarding proposed amendments to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. |
