Mr. Sophie joins NanoGram as Interim CFO with more than 25 years of comprehensive accounting finance and operational experience. Mr. Sophie is currently an active board member and Audit Committee Chair of four private companies, including NeoPhotonics Corporation. In addition to his board responsibilities, Mr. Sophie most recently served as Executive Vice President and COO of UTStarcom, Inc., where he was charged with the financial and operational management of the telecom equipment manufacturer and oversaw the company’s successful IPO. Mr. Sophie also served as Vice President of Finance and CFO at microwave radio systems manufacturer P-COM, Inc. He has a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Chico, an MBA from University of Santa Clara and is a Certified Management Accountant. |
