Michael J. Rankin is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Mr. Rankin’s practice includes business counseling and all aspects of civil litigation, including trial practice, for corporate, partnership, banking and individual clients. Mr. Rankin graduated magna cum laude from Rowan University (1998), and received his law degree magna cum laude from Widener University School of Law (2004), where he was associate editor of the Widener Law Review, an Academic Support Fellow for first year law students and a participant in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. He was the recipient of an academic scholarship and the William J. and Ella C. Wolf Award in Real Property. Mr. Rankin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Linda R. Feinberg, Assignment Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer Vicinage, Trenton, New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rankin served as an associate at another New Jersey law firm where his practice areas included railroad and employment litigation, insurance coverage, toxic torts, general premises liability and negligence defense. Mr. Rankin is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Essex County Bar Association and serves on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section. |
