Michael J. Parsons, chief operating officer and executive vice president, is responsible for all hospital and ambulatory surgery center operations. He has more than 24 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, including 10 years at the hospital level and 14 years at the multi-facility level. At the time of Triad’s spin-off from Columbia/HCA, Mr. Parsons was the COO/CFO for the Pacific Group. He joined Columbia/HCA as CFO of the Central Group in July 1994. He previously held positions with National Medical Enterprises (now Tenet) including senior vice president, divisional CFO and vice president of finance. Mr. Parsons is chairman-elect of the Federation of American Hospitals. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He is the chairman of the quality committee of the board. |
