Mike Hart majored in accounting at Mississippi State University and graduated in 1966. Hart joined the national CPA firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. Mike was employed in both the Jackson, Mississippi, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, offices through 1975. While with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., Mike was appointed a Computer Audit Specialist in addition to his audit and tax responsibilities. In 1975, Mike developed his own accounting practice in Jackson. A segment of his practice included serving as principal auditor for three hotel management organizations, one of which was MMI Hotel Group. In June, 1987, Mike became the Chief Financial Officer of MMI Hotel Group. |
