Currently, Michael J. Haaf is SVP of sales, marketing, and business strategy for Food Lion LLC, one of the leading U.S. grocery retailers. He was named 2007 s Marketer of the Year by Supermarket News. Before joining Food Lion, he was EVP of marketing at Office Depot. Previously, he served as SVP of marketing at First USA Bank N.A. His career also includes positions with Haemonetics Corp., KPMG LLP, and General Electric. Michael is a member of the board of directors of Stax Inc., the Professor Garfield Foundation, the Sundance Group, and Asset Management Technologies, Inc. and has been a guest speaker at the ECR, Europe Conference. He has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a bachelor s degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
