J. Michael Gallagher is President of J. Michael Gallagher & Associates, Inc., a California-based health care practice specializing in strategy, development, and project management. J. Michael Gallagher & Associates, Inc. is affiliated with Surgical Center Development Corporation in the ownership, development and operation of out patient surgical centers with surgeon and hospital partners in over 40 centers nation wide. Previously, Mr. Gallagher served as Executive Vice President of Saint Agnes Medical Center from 2000-2003 and as Senior Vice President of Catholic Healthcare West from 1997-1999. He was the founding President/CEO of the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California from 1989-1997, following the largest hospital trade association merger in the country and representing over 240 acute care hospitals. Gallagher has over 25 years of health care policy and strategic planning expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology and a Master of Arts in Government from California State University. |
