Michael Dorman handles commercial, toxic tort, and bankruptcy court litigation matters for and against oil, gas, and energy companies, financial institutions, corporations, and investment banking and brokerage firms. He has defended claims of breach of contract, tortious interference, fraud, and interference with contractual relations, as well as claims by foreign agricultural workers alleging injury from exposure to agricultural pesticides. Mr. Dorman has also worked with oil, gas, and refining corporations in litigation growing out of refining and pipeline operations and in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. He has also defended a national investment banking and brokerage firm against claims of churning and unauthorized trading in commodity hedge accounts and against claims of fraud and misrepresentation in connection with investment banking operations.
