Dr. Donovan assumed his current responsibilities as Senior Vice President of Research Collaborations in February 2003. Prior to joining Aureon Laboratories, Michael founded PathoCon, Inc. a successful molecular pathology consulting business working with small and medium sized biotech companies on both the east and west coast. In that role, Michael was involved in all aspects of scientific and strategic development projects including supporting basic laboratory techniques and advancing new technology platforms towards clinical diagnostics. Before starting his own business, Michael was a Senior Director at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for 5 years overseeing the molecular pathology and human tissue repository and was a Senior Vice President at Incyte Pharmaceuticals where he was responsible for the pathology and therapeutic antibody oncology programs. Michael has an M.S. and PhD from Rutgers in Endocrinology and Cell and Developmental Biology, respectively and is an AP/CP Board Certified M.D. pathologist with specialty boards in Pediatric Pathology. |
