Mike leads the Capital Markets and Hedging Group affiliated with Milliman's Financial Risk Management practice in Chicago. This group advises clients in banking, insurance, mortgage servicing, and funds management on ALM issues, financial risks, and hedging. In addition, the group is responsible for overseeing hedging programs where Milliman acts as agent for clients.
Experience
Mike has 20 years of experience in the capital markets, having worked for JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, and AVM (an affiliate of the III Hedge Funds), where his responsibilities included developing hedging programs for clients, executing trades for client derivative programs, structuring derivative securities to solve financial issues, analyzing and recommending relative value trading strategies, and executing on outsourced hedging programs. Mike's Wall Street experience also includes work in mergers and acquisitions.
