Mr.Conroy is an insurance executive and consultant with a significant breadth of experience and expertise in operational management, strategic planning, leadership, due diligence and large-scale integration efforts. He has a specialization in claims, administrative services and compliance.Mr. Conroy is the Principal for The Greyridge Group, Inc. Greyridge’s consulting services included all aspects of Property and Casualty Claims, Claims Management Solutions, Conflict Resolution, Corporate Governance, Due Diligence, Ethics and Compliance Programs, Litigation Management Best Practices, Performance Management, Risk Assessment, and Strategy Consulting. Conroy most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for WEMED Consulting.Mr. Conroy was the Executive Senior Vice President of Claims for St. Paul Companies from 1994-1995. Through 1995-2002 he held the positions of Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Claim Officer, Chief Privacy Office and Chief Ethics Officer for St. Paul. Mr. Conroy was responsible for Claims, Administrative Services, Information Services, Privacy Office, Ethics and Internal Controls while with St. Paul.Before St. Paul, Mr. Conroy spent five years as the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Home Insurance Company. He was responsible for Claims, Loss Control, Government and Industry Affairs Operations, Information Systems and Run-off Management. Mr. Conroy began his professional career with Chubb and Son, Inc. in 1965 where he eventually became the Vice President of Claims Administration as well as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Worldwide Claims before leaving the company in 1989. Mr. Conroy was a member of many advisory boards throughout his career, including AIA, ISO, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and Arbitration Forums, Inc. He also was a Director of many organizations including the Minnesota Better Business Bureau, Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce, and the Urban Coalition (Minnesota) as well as being a Trustee for the United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.Mr. Conroy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Dayton. He also attended the Executive Management Program at the College of Insurance in New York and Tuck Business School in New Hampshire. |
