Michael J. Burg, Jr. is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Mike received his J.D., cum laude, from the Rutgers University School of Law - Camden in 2006 and his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Rowan University in 2001. While at Rutgers, Mike served as the managing editor (Notes) for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Urban Policy and as a legal research and writing instructor. Mike also served as a co-chair for the Rutgers Association for Public Interest Law's annual fundraising auction, and was a winner of the Albert P. Blaustein Legal Writing Award.
Prior to law school, Mike worked for several years as an engineer for the U.S. Navy's Ship Systems Engineering Station in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for developing and implementing upgrades to surface craft gas turbine engine systems. Mike volunteers his time helping to find permanent homes for retired racing greyhounds, and is an active member of the Sports Car Club of America. |
