Description of Practice:
Michael J. Betz is a partner in our San Francisco office. Michael's practice focuses on complex commercial and corporate litigation conducted in California State and District courts. He is an experienced trial attorney who litigates telecommunications, corporate, breach of contract, unfair business practice, tortious interference, professional liability, real estate, and land use cases. He has a broad spectrum of clients ranging from corporate entities to individuals.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Michael worked at Moore & Associates, where he assisted Robert Moore, now also at Allen Matkins, with high profile and complex business litigation cases and trials. Michael previously clerked for Justice Robert L. Dossee of the First District Court of Appeal in California and the Honorable Alfred Chiantelli of the San Francisco Superior Court.
Michael is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Michael was born and raised in San Francisco, and often participates in local community and charity events. He is married to Kristina Lewis of Yorba Linda, California.
