Michael J. Beecher CPA joined Direct Insite in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. He brings more than 25 years of financial management experience in public and private companies with expertise in financing cash management and financial reporting to his role with the Company.
Prior to joining Direct Insite Mr. Beecher was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of FiberCore Inc. an international $20 million manufacturer of optical fiber for the telecommunications industry. During his tenure with FiberCore Mr.Beecher provided financial leadership for a joint venture with a company based in Malaysia and the acquisition of a manufacturing company based in Brazil. He also was the prime lead for closing a $25 million investment transaction with a Swiss investment firm on behalf of the Company.
Mr. Beecher previously served as the Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and as the Vice President of Finance for the US operations of a large Swedish chemical and plastics manufacturer.
Mr. Beecher earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
