Mr. Yount joined Piedmont as Senior Vice President - Utility Operations in April 2006, and assumed responsibility for Piedmont's Distribution and Utility Services, Field Operations, Engineering, Environmental, Construction, Operations Support & Services, Codes & Standards, Measurement, System Design, OQ and Training, Pipeline Safety, GIS and Gas Control. Mr. Yount was formerly a Vice President and Consultant for the Senn-Delaney Leadership Consulting Group where he worked with Piedmont's management group in developing the Piedmont Pride program that focuses on developing leadership skills and creating a healthy, high performance culture throughout the organization. Yount has an extensive natural gas industry background with Williams/Transco (formerly Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation). He held several management positions at Williams/Transco including project development, sales and marketing, customer service, engineering and construction and business process improvement functions. Yount received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology with highest honors. |
