Mr. Lanza joined Selective in July 2004 as senior vice president and general counsel. In this position, he oversees the company's legal department and staff counsel offices, as well as regulatory, compliance, ethics, legislative and government affairs functions. Mr. Lanza comes to Selective with extensive securities, compliance and insurance experience. Recently a corporate advisor and consultant, he previously served as executive vice president and corporate secretary of QuadraMed Corporation, a health care information technology company, in San Rafael, California.
Prior to QuadraMed, Lanza was an Assistant General Counsel at CIGNA Corporation, where his responsibilities included state government affairs, health care compliance and international matters. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut School of Law. Admitted to the Connecticut Bar, Mr. Lanza also is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries and the National Investor Relations Institute. |
