Michael G. Hamilton began his career with Rohm and Haas in 1991 in a sales role in Canada. After assuming increasing sales and marketing responsibilities in Canada, he relocated to Philadelphia in 1995, as a regional marketing manager in the acrylic polymers business. He then transferred to the Frankfurt, Germany office in 1997 for a Group Market Manager role in the Coatings group. In 2001, he was named European General Manager of the Architectural and Functional Coatings business.
In 2003, Mr. Hamilton returned to Philadelphia as the company's Director of Investor Relations. In 2004 he moved to Singapore as the Asia Pacific Business Director for the Performance Chemicals and Adhesives and Sealants Business Groups. Mr. Hamilton assumed his current position and was elected Vice President of Rohm and Haas Company in 2006
Mr. Hamilton obtained an Honors Degree in Chemistry (BSc.) from the University of Western Ontario (Canada) in 1989. He then earned an MBA from the Ivey Business School (Canada) in 1991.
