Mr. Valentine is a senior vice president and Cerner’s general manager of U.S. client operations. In his role Mr. Valentine oversees all client relationships sales consulting technology and support services for the company’s stateside operations.
Prior to this role Mr. Valentine maintained ownership of all client operations in the Great Lakes’ and Mid-America regions. In addition he also led Cerner’s technology organization with responsibility for third-party supplier relationships and their product resale technology services support and business development organizations and supervising outsource groups providing technology management consulting and hosting services.
Before joining Cerner in 1998 Mr. Valentine worked for seven years with Andersen Consulting as a manager in the telecommunications and technology industry group. In addition he started and managed a Midwest-based technology services company for two years following his work at Andersen Consulting.
Mr. Valentine is active in his community church and enjoys outdoor sporting activities. He also works with several environmental agencies on wildlife habitat restoration projects including a 170-acre wetlands project on his own property.
Mr. Valentine received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Kansas State University. |
