From January 2002 to October 2004, Mr. Thorne was Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Washington State Ferry System located in Seattle, Washington. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Thorne was Executive Director of the Port of Portland, a regional port authority responsible for ownership and management of marine terminals, airports and business parks, located in Portland, Oregon. He maintains an active ownership and management interest in the Thorne family farm near Pendleton, Oregon, and serves as chair of a State of Oregon Task Force responsible for reviewing land use laws and recommending legislative changes. Mr. Thorne is Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. |
