Michael G. Oleinik is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Los Angeles office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, where his practice focuses on patent and trade secret litigation.
Michael has considerable experience in client counseling and drafting and prosecuting patent applications. He has drafted numerous patent applications involving microprocessor technology, wireless communications, digital signal processing, CMOS fabrication techniques and voltage regulation circuitry.
Additionally, Michael has worked on several high-technology patent cases in areas, including digital and analog integrated circuits, microprocessors, computer memory, high-frequency wireless communications systems, wireless digital alarm systems, computer graphics rendering, operating systems and internet applications.
Prior to private practice, Michael built an extensive technical background in the field of electrical engineering. He was previously with Western Digital Corporation as a design engineer, where he performed transistor-level design of integrated circuit chips for use in computer networking applications.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is registered to practice in New York, California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
