Mike McGee has been practicing law since 1977 when he joined Chapman and Cutler LLP and has been a partner in the Corporate Finance Department since 1983. He has served as the Practice Group leader for the Corporate Finance Department since 1999 and is a founding member of the Lease Finance Group. Mr. McGee represents institutional lenders including insurance companies and pension funds and similar financial institutions in a wide variety of major financings. Mr. McGee is widely known for his experience and creativity in structuring and negotiating complex lease and project financings of transportation assets, facilities and virtually all types of equipment. He has extensive experience in private placement transactions including both unsecured negotiated offerings and issues secured by traditional and non-traditional collateral. Mr. McGee has been involved in numerous substantial cross-border financings of equipment and represented major institutions and lessees in both private and public financings. |
