After beginning his insurance career with The Travelers, Mr. Ross joined North American in 1985 as a commercial lines producer. In 1996, he became Vice President of Sales, and then in 1998 was appointed Executive Vice President. Today, Mike is President and CEO of North American Group, one of the 100 largest agencies in the country.
A graduate with honors from Oklahoma Baptist University, Mike has served as President and Board Member of OBU's Alumni Association and as a member of the Board of Trustees. Mike earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation in 1987 and the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1990. He also has served as an adjunct instructor, teaching insurance. Active in his industry and the community, Mike has served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater Oklahoma City and as a board member of IIA of Oklahoma. Mike also serves on several Agent Councils of National Insurance companies. He has served in numerous capacities with United Way and is very active in his church, Capitol Hill Baptist Church and is involved in Christian Business Men's Council (CBMC). |
