Michael F. Nerone is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Transportation Law, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Bad Faith Defense and Prevention, and Product Liability Law. Mr. Nerone is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Courts, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, and Trucking Industry Defense Association. He is Chairman of the Trucking Industry Defense Association Amicus Committee. Mr. Nerone graduated from Duquesne University in 1988 with a B.S. in Accounting. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1991. Mr. Nerone is a frequent lecturer on Bad Faith Defense and Prevention, Insurance Coverage, and Transportation Law and has written about Bad Faith, Insurance Litigation, and Transportation Law in various publications including Duquesne University Law Review, Andrews Insurance Industry Litigation Reporter, Best Week Property/Casualty Insurance News and Trends, and Insurance Advocate. As a member of the Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote Transportation Group, Mr. Nerone regularly manages catastrophic losses from the time of occurrence and investigation through litigation of the claims to verdict and on appeal.
