Experience:
Michael Kerr is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes. His extensive trial experience includes jury and bench trials as well as arbitrations. The subject matters of these trials and arbitrations have been quite varied, and have included disputes about petroleum pipelines, easement rights, fair market rental value, sales of securities, hedge funds, corporate control, contract interpretation, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of corporate funds, finder’s fees, defective computer components and apartment building construction. He also has extensive experience with cases involving antitrust issues, sales of pipelines, pipeline construction projects, rights of first refusal, class actions, deceptive trade practices, misappropriation of trade secrets, and negligent performance of professional duties. In addition, while he primarily practices at the trial court level, he has worked on numerous appeals, including both briefing and argument.
Michael also handles international corporate litigation. His experience includes letters of credit, licensing and distributorship agreements, and international antitrust investigations.
