Michael E. Hicks is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of OMNOVA Solutions Inc., a position he assumed when GenCorp completed its spin off of OMNOVA October 1, 1999. Mr. Hicks was elected Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GenCorp on March 31, 1999. OMNOVA Solutions is a $810 million company and a leading producer of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and decorative and functional surfaces. Mr. Hicks joined GenCorp in 1978 and held various positions in the corporate systems, customer financial services and treasury departments. In 1994 he was appointed Treasurer for GenCorp after having served as Director of Treasury since 1987. A native of Akron, Ohio, Mr. Hicks holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration Finance from The University of Akron.
