Michael D. Soejoto joined the firm in 2004 as an associate in the firm’s tax department.
Mr. Soejoto’s area of practice includes federal and state taxation, with an emphasis on partnership taxation and the taxation of real estate transactions, including real estate investment trusts and real estate investments by tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Soejoto received his J.D. in 2002 from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where he was a publishing editor of the California Law Review. In 1999, he received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College, Annapolis, MD.
Mr. Soejoto has been a practicing member of the State Bar of California since his admission in 2002.
