Mr. Mayes is a Senior Associate in the firm's Workers' Compensation and Civil Litigation Practices and is based in the firm's Springfield office. He concentrates in Missouri Workers' Compensation and Civil Litigation cases.

Mr. Mayes is licensed to practice in Missouri, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.
Professional Activities:
Mr. Mayes is experienced in Workers' Compensation and a variety of litigation areas, including automobile accidents, premises liability, construction and commercial litigation. He has tried matters to judge and jury as well as successfully appealed in Missouri state courts and the Federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Evans & Dixon in 2002, Mr. Mayes was in private practice. Previously, he was an attorney at another Springfield, Mo., law firm.
Mr. Mayes has handled Workers' Compensation cases involving amputations, assaults and violent acts, back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, contact with objects and equipment, cumulative trauma, falls, fatalities, fractures, harmful substances or environments, head injuries, heart attacks, lower extremities, mold exposure, multiple traumatic injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, neck injuries, permanent disability, pulmonary disorders, respiratory conditions, sprains, strains, breaks, tears, tendonitis, transportation incidents and upper extremities.
Mr. Mayes is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Association.
