Mr. Tabris is a retired public relations practitioner with more than 40 years of experience focused primarily on corporate communications. He has managed the public relations functions of several Fortune 100 companies, including serving as Vice President. From 1990 until 1991, Mr. Tabris was Vice President of Public Affairs for the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association. From 1987 until 1989, he was Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Mack Truck. From 1985 until 1987, he was Corporate Director of Public Affairs for Phillip Morris Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MO). From 1979 until 1985, he served as Corporate Director of Communications & Government Affairs at Occidental Chemical Corporation (NYSE:OXY). From 1968 until 1979, he was Director of Public Relations & Customer Communication for Celanese Fibers Marketing Company (NYSE:CE), and from 1961 until 1968, as Manager of External Communications for United Parcel Service (NYSE:UPS). Mr. Tabris received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations and Marketing from New York University and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. |
