Michael D. Staley, CPA, CFE is a manager in our audit and accounting department with 20 years experience as an accountant. Mike routinely performs audits of statutory and GAAP basis financial statements for manufacturing and insurance industry clients. Mike has significant involvement with insurance industry clients and assists them with resolving regulatory and competitive challenges. Additionally, Mike prepares projections, corporate income tax returns, pension plan audits and review engagements. His scope of engagements also includes consolidations, various management consulting projects, and merger and acquisition support. Highlighting his expertise and extensive audit experience, Mike performs consulting projects to identify methods for business management to enhance efficiencies and internal controls. Mike devotes a substantial amount of time to professional and civic activities. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a member of the finance committee for the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and the Industrial Management Council of Olean. Mike is a member, past treasurer, and past member on the board of directors for the Kiwanis Club of Olean and a member on the board of directors and treasurer for the First Church of God. Additionally, he is a member of the board of directors and treasurer for the Genesis House of Olean, Inc. and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. |
