Michael D. Carroll is a Member of Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC. Mr. Carroll is a commercial litigator who specializes in the area of construction law. Mr. Carroll has extensive experience with the full spectrum of legal tasks associated with a construction project, from negotiating the contract to participating in dispute resolution proceedings, including litigation. Mr. Carroll has represented a wide variety of clients in the construction area, including suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, owners, design professionals and sureties. Mr. Carroll is also proficient in the use of alternative dispute resolution methodologies, including mediation and arbitration.
Mr. Carroll is a member of the Construction Law Subcommittee of the Michigan State Bar Real Estate Section, and is a member of the Forum on the Construction Industry, a section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Carroll is a 1995 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He also earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. While an undergraduate at Michigan, Mr. Carroll was the recipient of the Chick Evans Scholarship.
