Michael D. Brannigan is president, U.S. Solutions Group for Xerox Corporation, Stamford, Conn. He was appointed to this position in October 2004 and was elected a corporate vice president in July 2003.
Brannigan is responsible for the full portfolio of products, services and solutions sold by the Xerox direct sales and service force in the United States, the delivery of managed and technical services, and the leadership of the joint venture with Xerox Capital Services.
Since joining Xerox in 1972, Brannigan has held numerous sales and management positions including district manager of the company's Baltimore sales district, Federal Government Operations manager, vice president/general manager of the Upstate New York Customer Business Unit, vice president / general manager of the Federal Customer Business Unit, and senior vice president for Xerox's North American Public Sector Operations. He was also president, North American Solutions Group, responsible for the direct sales and service of Xerox products and services in the United States and Canada.
Brannigan was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of business administration from Loyola College in Baltimore.
