Michael D. Belmarsh is the Director of Database Services of TriCore Solutions, LLC. He is responsible for TriCore's database consulting services, as well as developing their remote database management practice. Michael is an Oracle Master in Database Administration. Prior to TriCore Solutions, LLC, Michael has gathered significant experience customizing database solutions in the areas of Healthcare, Drug Discovery, ERP, and the Human Genome Project. These solutions include: Backup & Recovery, Tuning, Security, Disaster Recovery, New Features & Technologies, Messaging Services, Database Design, Database Management and Monitoring. He has been involved with the strategic planning and management of large-scale, 24x7 database systems encompassing OLTP, DSS, OLAP, and Data Warehouse. Most recently, he was a senior consultant for Sapphire Technologies, where he was the lead architect in the design and implementation of DSS automation processes for the genome pipeline database system of a major pharmaceutical company. Michael is an Oracle Certified Professional with professional certifications also in Software Engineering and Client/Server Architecture. He has a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Boston University. |
