Michael D. Baisley is a Managing Director of Knox & Co., and President of Knox Securities Corp., FINRA member, a registered broker-dealer and wholly owned subsidiary of Knox & Co. In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Baisley is involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory assignments and corporate restructurings, both domestic and international since 1997. Mr. Baisley has served as lead investment banker and financial advisor to U.S., Japanese and Chinese multi-nationals and has served as court approved investment banker and offered expert testimony as such. As corporate advisor, Mr. Baisley has worked on public and private transactions across a broad range of industries including: automotive, basic manufacturing, food and beverage, information technology, media, pharmaceutical, real estate and financial services. In his role as President of Knox Securities Corp., Mr. Baisley oversees the strategic and operational aspects of the securities-related business.
Prior to his employment at Knox & Co., Mr. Baisley was in the Stamford, Connecticut and New York City offices of Price Waterhouse LLP for five years in the Business Advisory Services group. During his employ with Price Waterhouse, Mr. Baisley had responsibility for managing global engagements for a number of Fortune 500 U.S. clients. Services provided to these clients included due diligence on acquisitions, advisory services on SEC and accounting matters, and developing strategic and business improvement recommendations. His clients were predominantly in the manufacturing, technology and media industries. Prior thereto, Mr. Baisley held a position at Asea Brown Boveri, Ltd., a Zurich-based provider of services, fuel, technology and plant design to the power production industry.
Mr. Baisley is the general securities principal of Knox Securities Corp. and has his Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 securities licenses. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Carrington Trustees Ltd. a diversified real estate development company located in New Zealand. Mr. Baisley is a member of The Association for Corporate Growth , the Japan Society in New York City and the Turnaround Management Association. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.
