Michael Perdue was named Chief Executive Officer of The Signature Group on March 17, 2002. A founder of TSG, Mr. Perdue previously served as Chief Operating Officer. Under Mr. Perdue’s direction, TSG has expanded its operations to 6 offices nationally and has achieved an annualized growth rate of over 100%. Mr. Perdue is responsible for strategic direction of TSG.
Before founding The Signature Group, Mr. Perdue was a consultant for Citicorp Global Information Network (CGIN), where was responsible for evaluating and certifying technologies for Citicorp’s global network infrastructure encompassing some 65,000 users. In the early 90s, Mr. Perdue was Corporate Manager of Technical Services and Operations for UniNet, Inc., a $9MM regional systems integration firm, focused on state-of-the-art technology solutions for mid-size businesses in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Mr. Perdue served in the U.S. Navy where he was responsible for network design, implementation, and support for Submarine Group 10 at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. His responsibilities also included the implementation and integration of satellite based communications systems into the network platform enabling computer based Extra Low Frequency (ELF) message communications with all Atlantic Fleet Ballistic Missile and Fast Attack Submarines.
Mr. Perdue completed the Navy’s Advanced Electronics program, and holds many high-level networking certifications. Mr. Perdue is currently enrolled in the Special Executive Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. |
