Michael C. Keller is executive vice president and chief information officer for Nationwide, one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services companies in the world. He was elected to this position in 2001.
He has worked in technology for 20 years and has extensive experience in technology strategy and planning, solution development, systems integration, technology infrastructure and operations.
Keller was previously chief technology officer for corporate infrastructure at Bank One Corporation. Prior to that, he was an executive in the Consulting and Systems Integration practice with IBM Global Services and served in a variety of leadership roles in IBM’s sales, industry solutions and services businesses.
He is a member of the Columbus Technology Leadership Council and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with highest distinction honors from the University of Michigan.
Nationwide, with $158 billion in assets, provides a full range of insurance and financial services, including auto, homeowners, life, health, and commercial insurance; annuities, mutual funds, retirement plans and administrative services.
