Michael B. Stern is Vice President of Information Technology for the Chicago Climate Exchange, the world's first and North America's only active, voluntary, legally binding integrated trading system to reduce emissions of all six greenhouse gases, with offset projects in North America and worldwide. Prior to joining CCX in 2003, Mr. Stern was a Systems Analyst with ABN-AMRO Information Technology, Inc., who managed IT services for ABN-AMRO North America, Inc. offices. Mr. Stern also served as Webmaster for several websites including Soccer International's JustFor-Kicks.com and Stern Investment Advisors' sternadvisors.com. Mr. Stern began his career at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) in floor operatations for a local proprietary trading firm as well as serving in the Information Technology Department for the CBOT. Mr. Stern, who is a Microsoft Certfied Professional, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing with an emphasis in computer information technologies from The University of Oregon. |
