Michael B. Jordan has practiced law with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP since 1974 and is now the firm's general counsel. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, securities work, commercial lending and general corporate representation.
Corporate Finance and Securities. Michael has represented issuers in public offerings of securities, issuers and investors in institutional private placements and venture capital investments, borrowers and lenders in commercial loan transactions, and sellers in trade receivables securitization transactions, involving such industries as cable and broadcast television, radio, consumer and commercial finance, agribusiness, software, newspaper publishing, defense contracting, manufacturing and transportation.
Mergers and Acquisitions. Michael has represented buyers and sellers of businesses, involving both publicly-traded and privately-owned companies, in the communications, software, housing and manufacturing industries, among others.
General Corporate Representation. In addition to his involvement in lending and financing transactions, Michael has provided general legal advice to a number of clients on day-to-day matters such as contracting, corporate governance, securities law compliance and creditors’ rights. |
