Michael Fisher is Senior Counsel in the Litigation Department of Buchalter Nemer's Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Buchalter Nemer in 2004, Mr. Fisher was a litigation attorney with the law firms of Stroock, Stroock and Lavan, LLP and Heller Ehrman, LLP. Mr. Fisher has significant experience in handling complex litigation for financial institutions, the manufacturing sector and the entertainment industry. In addition to general business and commercial litigation, Mr. Fisher’s areas of emphasis include contract disputes, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices, copyright and trademark, creditors' rights and fair debt collection practices, employment disputes.
Mr. Fisher obtained his juris doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1999. While in law school, Mr. Fisher was a member of the Thurston Honor Society, was awarded a Certificate of Merit for Moot Court Oral Argument and worked as note editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly. Mr. Fisher earned his bachelor of arts degree in psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1994.
