Michael B. Baughan has been President and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace, Inc. since December 31, 2005. From July 2002 to December 2005, Mr. Baughan was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Aircraft Segment, the company’s largest segment accounting for 65% of total revenue. Upon joining the company in 1994, he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the Seating Products Group until 1999, and then Seating Division Vice President and General Manager until July 2002.
Prior to 1994, Mr. Baughan held various positions including President of AET Systems, Manager of Strategic Initiatives at The Boston Company (American Express) and Sales Representative at Dow Chemical Company.
Mr. Baughan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is active in various industry associations and serves on the board of United Way. He is a licensed pilot.
