Michael A. Smith

Mr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, cum laude, in 1979 and his law degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University in 1982. Mr. Smith concentrates his practice in the business, banking, mergers and acquisitions, and securities areas. He has spoken on business and securities issues to various groups.
Mr. Smith is the past Chairman of the Business Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association. He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations (Member, Section on Corporation, Banking, and Business Law) and is a member of the Securities Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association. Mr. Smith is also a member of the Take-Over Advisory Committee of the Ohio Division of Securities. Mr. Smith currently serves as Chairman of the firm's Business Law practice group.
