He is the former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris Companies Inc. having served in those positions from September 1991 to July 1994. Prior to September 1991 Mr. Miles was Vice Chairman and a member of the board of directors of Philip Morris Companies Inc. Mr. Miles is also a director of Time Warner Inc.
